Ah, Fridays. And with it, the end of the Ministry's hair-brained sensitivity training month. Happy day indeed. While everyone else was enjoying international cuisine, I had the pleasure of experiencing a rather more fresh spread. The Japanese are, as ever, formidable hosts.

I may not be sentimental, but I was again happy to have my camera during this week's business trip. Even if my assistant was, naturally, the photographer.
WARDED TO HYACINTH & WILLIAMMy dear, William and I will be working for our Lord this coming Sunday evening. The activity is, admittedly, a rather dangerous one. We will need you to be ready and on-call Sunday evening. Do you think that's manageable? WARDED TO CASSIUS & HEATHAny news to report about Hazel or Tamsin?

It would appear Theodore is gifted. This morning, he made a tower out of his biscuits. Not that I'm surprised. Though I fear I'm too old for these baby stages. I'm not sure I'm prepared for him to walk.
WARDED TO HYACINTHTamsin has been named as a blood-traitor. She's a -- target. WARDED TO CASSIUS AND HEATHCLIFFI need a favour. It requires your absolute discretion.

Muggles found murdered with Sirius Black's name scrawled on their bodies in the same evening he threatens to expose upstanding Pureblood families? I certainly hope the DMLE will investigate young Mr. Black with the full extent of their powers. Given the uncharacteristic nature of the crime, the lack of dark magic that's been associated with these Death Eaters, it seems rather suspicious, to me. And to some of my colleagues at the ICW.
WARDED TO HYACINTHMet with my old friend from school, this evening. You fill in the blanks.

WARDED TO DOLOHOV AND MULCIBERI need a damned glass of whiskey. Insufferable wench. Who in the hell does Narcissa Malfoy think she is, speaking to me like that?
Perhaps I should focus my energy. Remind our dear friend Jack Jones that we're still watching him. WARDED TO HYACINTH, TAMSIN AND HAZEL Added after this.
Tamsin, Hazel, you are to attend Purple Hats meetings with your step-mother regularly. She needs help with Theodore.
This is not a question. Please do not argue with me today.

Though I'm currently in Oslo at a Security Council Meeting for the European division of the ICW, I've had distressing news from my wife that the WWN has been hijacked. Terrible business and rather embarrassing to explain. I'm distressed that Britain continuously shows itself incapable of meeting threats of aggression with adequate force. If our infrastructure is so weak that security can be breached at our national broadcasting system, I must regrettably voice, again, my serious concerns with our administrations ability to meet our foe head-on. Here, in my journal, and to my colleagues at the ICW -- many of whom share my views.
Not only do I have to deal with it here, on the International stage, but my poor wife has to feel unsafe at home. A real pity when the true citizens of the Wizarding community can no longer feel secure in their own country.
For all their strange, "progressive" politics, you really can't beat the shoreline.
WARDED TO BARTY CROUCH JR. AND CASS TRAVERSWell done, lads. I'll be home tomorrow afternoon. Feel free to stop by for a quick hunt and some celebratory brandy for a job excellently accomplished. WARDED TO THE INNER CIRCLEWhat's that saying? Like stealing candy from a baby. I expected Crouch would get the job done. I'm more than impressed by Travers -- didn't know he had it in him. WARDED TO TAMSIN AND HAZELFamily dinner tomorrow evening. I've brought you both something back from Oslo, in case you were looking for a reason to refuse.

Quite the furor in the streets this evening. I was, unfortunately, caught in the midst of it as I tried to exit work this evening. A terrible great crush it was, too -- and slightly ironically counter-intuitive, given the nature of the protests. Security seemed rather lax all things considered. While I certainly can't tell anyone how to do their job, I'm disappointed the tom-foolery was allowed to go on so long. Someone could have been seriously injured, myself not-withstanding. As it is, I managed to leave the scene with only a small ship in my cashmere coat, but I was rather concerned for a passing woman and her young child who seemed to be caught up in the mob.
While I may not agree with all the Minister's politics, I would hope she might have handled the protesters more fastidiously. I don't entirely see what the point in arguing over Unforgiveables is if citizens begin killing each other in an attempt to get their idiotic point across.
